Shipping prices to Cuba
How much does it cost to ship a package to Cuba?
At Paketico the price of a shipment to Cuba follows one simple rule: $5.00 per package plus $2.00 per pound. You see the total before you pay, you pay online with Visa or Mastercard, and your family pays nothing when it arrives.
Below are examples at today’s price for different weights, what pickup at your home costs and how you pay when you send up to three packages at once.
- Packages: 7 to 14 business days from pickup
- Door to door all over Cuba
- Home pickup within 100 miles of Miami
- Your family pays nothing on delivery
The price per pound to Cuba
Each package pays a flat fee of $5.00 and then $2.00 per pound. The flat fee is charged once per package, so the heavier the package, the less each pound costs you.
Weight goes in whole pounds, from 10 to 100 pounds per package, and each package can be worth up to $800. The same price applies to every destination: all 15 provinces and the special municipality of Isla de la Juventud.
We confirm the weight once we have your package; if it differs from what you entered, we adjust the charge and let you know (if it weighs less, we refund the difference).

- 20-pound package: $45.00.
- 30-pound package: $65.00.
- 50-pound package: $105.00.

Pickup at your home
If you live within 100 miles of Miami, we come pick up your package at your home on the day and two-hour window you choose. Pickup costs $5.00 plus $1.50 per mile of distance from Miami: for example, about $20.00 at 10 miles and about $50.00 at 30 miles.
The exact pickup cost depends on your address and you see it before you pay. Pickup is charged only once per shipment, even if it carries two or three packages.
Up to three packages in one payment
A shipment can carry up to three packages, one of each kind: “Food, hygiene and medicine”; “Miscellaneous” (clothes, shoes, toys, household items, small electronics); and “Durable goods” (appliances, computers, electrical equipment). Each item goes in the package of its kind, and you pay for them together, in one payment. Food, toiletries and medicines (medical supplies too) always travel in their own package: they can share that box, but are never mixed with the rest of your things.
If you want to send, say, food and clothes, you don’t need two shipments: you pack one box for each and create a single shipment with both packages.
Each package pays its own flat fee of $5.00 plus its pounds, the food package too. A 20-pound food package costs $5.00 + 20 × $2.00 = $45.00, and a 30-pound clothes package, $65.00: together they add up to $110.00, plus pickup just once. If you add a 25-pound microwave to the same shipment as a durable goods package ($55.00), the total goes up to $165.00, and pickup is still charged just once. What your family pays on delivery: nothing
Everything is paid online when you ship: the package by the pound and the pickup. If the package weighs differently when we weigh it, we adjust the charge and let you know. Your family pays no duties or any other charge when we deliver it to their door.
Estimated delivery time is 7 to 14 business days, and you can track the package every step of the way. If a shipment is not delivered, we refund what you paid to your card, as our refund policy explains.
Store products already include shipping
If you don’t have the product at home, you can buy it in our store: the price you see already includes shipping to the door in Cuba. It isn’t charged by the pound, there’s no pickup to pay, and you can buy from anywhere in the United States.
It’s the most practical option for big or expensive items, like generators, solar panels or appliances. See also the pricing page.
